I got bored with the old “Beach Scene” theme and decided to make my own.
Then I figured maybe some other people might like a change too, so it’s yours if you want it. It’s a minimalist design — just wanted to keep it clean and clear so it’s good for multi-tabling.
Coloured it like the sky on a sunny day to trick my brain into thinking happy thoughts. No wait that’s a lie, I just like blue.
You can click the image to the right to get a full size preview of a single table. It looks best with 4 or more tables going but you get the idea.
Full Tilt skins are pretty easy to install — download link and full instructions on “Read the rest”. If anyone wants a variation of this theme like a different colour background or different felt image, or if you’ve got your own ideas for what would look good, leave a comment and I should be able to turn around another version pretty quickly.
Full Tilt Custom Skin Instructions
Note: These instructions are also repeated in the readme.txt file.
Obviously the first thing to do is download the skin files. I’ve included all the original Full Tilt versions too in case you change your mind. Link below:
gotdonk-full-tilt-skin-yin-yang-blue.zip
Once you’ve got the zip file, extract the files to somewhere convenient (i.e. your desktop). Then navigate to the Full Tilt Graphics folder: C: > Program Files > Full Tilt Poker > Graphics
From there, go into the Table folder. This is where all the Full Tilt table images live and there are 2 parts to the skin file — the new felt image and the background. They go in different places.
Step 1: Add the new yin yang felt:
You should already be in the Table folder and if you’re not then your instruction following skills are weak. Go into the Elements folder. Copy the “Table.png” and “Table_Original.png” files here from the Elements folder of the extracted zip file on your desktop. Obviously overwrite the old version of “Table.png” that’s already there.
Step 2: Add the new background:
Go back out of the Full Tilt Elements folder and then into the Backgrounds folder.
If you look in the Backgrounds folder of the extracted zip file, you’ll see a Gotdonk folder with images in it and a Backgrounds.ini file. Copy and paste Gotdonk into the Full Tilt Backgrounds folder alongside Beach Scene, Final Table etc.
The Backgrounds.ini file sets up the menu that appears when you right click on an open table within Full Tilt to change the background. The version included in the zip file will set this menu to all the usuals — Vegas Skyline / Beach Scene / etc. — plus gotdonk.
If you’ve added other custom skins before and still want those themes to be available, edit Backgrounds.ini yourself, otherwise just copy and paste over the old file with the one in the .zip and you’re done.
– Enjoy!
